
Jamey Wozniak is the Owner and CEO of Joes Hitch, Trailer & Truck Accessories in Dallas, TX. Since 1932, Joes has been specializing in the installation of heavy duty towing products, trailer parts and repair, and sales of Truck and SUV accessories. This certified female-owned, small business has taken the industry by storm since Jamey purchased the Company in 2007. With her sassy style and up-front demeanor, she sure knows how to hook ya up right!
With more than twenty-five years of achievement as a successful business woman in diverse industries, with companies such as Helene Curtis, Sony Electronics and Schindler Elevator, her corporate expertise is in the areas of human resources and training & development. This is obviously where she gets her winning attitude when it comes to customers, vendors and employees. After corporate life, her creative entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and she launched her own interior decorating firm. She successfully built the business and then sold it to help fund the purchase of Joes Hitch and Trailer. Jamey is lucky to be trained by some really wonderful mentors in the automotive business and makes it a point to attend automotive seminars, workshops and conferences including hands on training in her own shop.
Woznaik is currently a member of the Women’s Automotive Association International, Car Care Council Women’s Board, Texas Association of Business, Texas Certified HUB Vendor, SEMA, SEMA Business Women’s Network, WBENC and the Northwood Alumni Group. She has been a speaker and a board member of The Women of Flower Mound, and is a member of both the Dallas and Flower Mound Chambers of Commerce. She volunteers and supports numerous charities such as Alleys House, Special Olympics, Friends For Heart, and the ASPCA.
In just two short years she has appeared in Truck & SUV Magazine, The Dallas Morning News, The News Connection, The Northwood Idea, and has been an expert guest on the AutoGal Radio Show which lead to hosting several shows. She has written and produced “It’s Tow Time,” her own compilation of Safety Towing Tips airing on KSKY AM660. Jamey writes articles and blogs for Hitchinfo.com and The Relentless Networker. She was selected as a vendor spotlight for the University of North Texas and was nominated for The Rising Star Award for The Women’s Business Council Southwest. Jamey is also an Automotive Expert Advisor with Ask Patty.com, a safe place for women to get advice on car buying, maintenance and any automotive related topics.
Wozniak does speaking engagements on the automotive industry, social media, balancing work and family, kids in the workplace, changing careers and how to break through the gender barrier. She is known as the “Hitch Bitch” in the automotive industry but in an endearing way. Jamey is obsessed with networking and social media and has successfully built her “brand” through these and other channels.
Jamey is a graduate of the largest automotive school in the nation, Northwood University, where she earned a BBA in Marketing and Management. She has two children, ages 11 and 13, and resides near Dallas, Texas with husband Matt.
